UK expands sanctions list: Dubai-based Ocean Leonid Investments included

On 21 August 2025, the UK updated its sanctions list, adding new Iranian-linked entities, including Ocean Leonid Investments, registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), along with several affiliated companies.

👉 This development increases sanctions risks for the aviation sector, particularly operators and MRO players working with DIFC-based entities or partners in Dubai.
