Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has achieved a major milestone by securing the first ever Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) from the FAA and CAAI for the conversion of the Boeing 777-300ER from passenger to freighter configuration (STAT Times).

  • Launch customer: AerCap, with Kalitta Air as the operator.

  • Market demand: Already around 60 firm orders for conversions.

  • Capacity: Payload up to 100 tonnes, making it one of the largest twin-engine freighters.
